Using Audacity was a bit challenging considering the fact that there is a lot of different things you are able to do in order to make it sound just right. I chose audacity because I have hear great things from people over the past few years during interviews. I like the idea of this program for professional podcasts. I think this would be a great tool for an assistant principal to ensure the message is getting across in the correct manner. My colleague had this to say about audacity.
"This is a very useful program. I
like the fact that I was able to hear you clearly. I like the tone and pace you
set for your speech. I am not sure if this type of program can be embedded into
pictures or slideshows like PowerPoints, but that would be a creative way to
use it."
It took a little bit of time to get comfortable with it, but once I did, it was good. I definitely needed the posted tutorial to help me through it.
